Congrats Bryan!!!

Posted By:  Jamie

If you remember from a previous post… Bryan had a job interview at Pepsi. Well, he also applied at ADM. It’s a grain milling company here in Dodge. He had his interview there last week and they offered him the position on the spot! They told him to wait for his background check and drug test results to come in before he puts his two weeks in. So, he did all that on Tuesday, and they called him today and said he can start whenever he wants!!

I’m am SO proud of him. He’ll be a lab technician out there. And what they do is they process Milo and make flour. So Bryan will get to run tests on the flour, play with chemicals and microscopes all day! He’s really excited. They started him at $43-$45 thousand a year, and he’ll be working 4-Midnight. Which is good because he’ll get to be home with Junior in the mornings while I’m at work and vice versa!

So just wanted to post a CONGRATS note for Bryan! I’m SO proud of him!

Uncle Matt!

Posted by: Jamie

Tuesday evening, Mom and I headed to Wichita to see the baby specialist. The appointment was Wednesday early morning, so we figured we would go up the night before and find the place, since we didn’t exactly know where it was.

We found it no sweat, and actually made it to the office an hour before my appointment! We got in really quick! Probably a good 30 minutes before my scheduled time! Then we waited… and waited… and waited some more.

Finally the nurse poked her head into the room and said, “The doctor isn’t here, we don’t know where she is. She’s probably at the hospital. She’ll be here as soon as she can.” Well, great! So Mom and I stand at the window, gawk at idiots running in the rain and all the fancy cars driving around (wasting another good 30 minutes or so).

The doctor has arrived! Only not the one I’m supposed to see. This guy is supposedly her associate doctor. Or partner in crime, whatever you want to call it. How can I describe this guy? Think of the godfather. Pick any of the mafia men off there. That was him! Dr. Polano. Obviously Italian. Looked like he drove a black caddie, and his buddies call him “Skinny P”!

He had nothing but good things to say, about my bloodwork and the pregnancy. As he flipped through my charts he said, “Oh, we do have one problem.” I guess in Dr. Fry’s documentation of my sonagrams, the dates weren’t matching up. So he ordered me to have another sonagram!

They looked at the baby, and measured everything you could imagine! The circumference of his head, and around his belly. How big his stomach was. The brain size and brain mass. The placenta. The umbilical cord. How long the arms were.

They moved down to measure the legs. They looked around. I said, “Hmmm… that sure looks like a boy!” She said, at 14 weeks it’s pretty early. But she told me that she was pretty sure also that it was a boy! When it’s that early it can be a girl, but with the hormones and everything it can make the “little girl parts” swolen and therefore hard to distinguish between the two.

She told me though, that she would be VERY surprised if it WASN’T a little boy! So along with all my sonagram pictures I got yesterday, I got one with a little pee pee and an arrow pointing to it saying, “BOY PARTS!”

We got out of the office and to the elevator. I jumped up and down and had to celebrate in the fact that, “I KNEW IT WAS A BOY!” Everyone said I was crazy for thinking in the last picture that it was in fact a “HE” But, I was right, and I had to have a celebration dance! :o)

So, congrats to Uncle Matt, on your new Nephew! Bryson Edward Duncan!

Happy Birthday Andrea!

Welp, you’re 21! I hope I can make your day as exciting for you as I can, but I’m a pretty boring guy. I got the day off work though. So I’m taking you out for supper and yes, a drink tonight. Applebee’s sound good?

Love you!

Happy Birthday!

Hopefully you’re reading this. Got the site up and running at least. Still want to add more to most of the areas, add some new areas. All that stuff.

I hope this works long term. Any questions or suggestions, post ’em here.

Enjoy!

These are some pics of our new kitten, Nala. We just adopted her today, and spent A LOT of money on cat stuff. And I bet you’re wondering about the name, right? Yes, it is from The Lion King. I saw a cat in there that was named Simba, and we were trying to come up with a name so I said, “How about Nala?” We both like the name, and I think she does too. 😉

Uncle Matt!

Matt,
Say hello to you’re future niece or nephew! This was taken last week. You can see the head, and the arms. The legs are hard to see even in the actual picture.

Bryan said, “Boy he sure does have a big head! Get’s that from me I’m sure.” To which I replied, “No he has a big brain, and he gets that from ME!” Ha ha.

I think it’s a boy, but if my baby instinct is anything like my sense of direction, (if I think something’s on the right, then it’s really on the left, and vice versa) then it’s going to be a girl. But, I think it’s a boy. :o)

Had another appointment at 11 today, but the doctor was in Lakin doing a surgury. I go back at 3:45.

Take care, I’ll keep you posted. Adios!

In the Works

If all goes according to plan, the blog will soon be on the move.

www.bgwillers.com has been reserved and preparations are being made to host the blog on my own webserver. This should give me a little more freedom to add some extra content (besides just the blog) and break out of the mold a bit.

You can help! Right now I need to make sure everybody can access the new website. When you go to
www.bgwillers.com you should see the teaser banner. If you get nothing, or somekind of error, please let me know!

And for those that are uninformed about B.G. Willers meaning (or just plain forgot), it’s roots can be traced back to being very bored in pre-algebra and creating a ludicrous line of ficticious products. Not the least of which was “B.G. Willers: Premium Beverage“. Like so many things, the name has just kind of hung around through the years waiting to be tacked on anything obscure.

Hey, Matt, it’s James!

Posted by: Jamie

Hello brother! How is everything going? All is ok here. Mom is letting me use her blogger name. She told me to ask you for an invite. I didn’t know you had to invite people to your secret blog club! Oooo! :o)

Everything is going well here. Had a Dr. appointment yesterday for the baby. They were going to start letting me have every other week appointments instead of every week, but there were some problems this week. After next weeks appointment I get to go to Wichita to another Dr. there. Woo!

Well, I had better get back to work. We are short handed today. Talk to you later.

Jamie
