Oh Wiilly?
First it was…
Nintendo Entertainment System
Then…
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Then…
Nintendo 64 (Thanks, Mom for not getting the Sega Saturn!)
Then…
Gamecube
And now…

As in “We”. Clever name? Or just wiilly strange? That’s Nintendo for ya. I mean I know it’s not going to affect what the system does, but it’s going to sound weird saying…
“I’m going to go play with my Wii.”
everqust or…evercrack
well latly ive been playing everquest 2 im not sure why i was sunk back into the game but the most recent changes they have made in the game have made it alot mor fun than what it was over a year ago

You’re going to hate this game.
My record is 21 seconds. What’s yours?

Warning! Geek Station!
You know we’re nerds when you have His and Hers computers on the same desk.
I ordered some new parts for my computer and with the old parts and parts from Mom’s old eMachines, I was able to build another computer for Andrea. All I needed was a case and monitor, both of which Platinum Broadcasting graciously donated. (Yes I asked first.)
Why did I do it, you ask? Well I’m a sucker, mostly. And because I can’t get enough of this freaking Guild Wars game. Andrea and I both play it, and we can get online and play it together. But it doesn’t run too well on my laptop, so now we both have computers that run it decently.
Here’s some comparison shots:
Andrea’s Computer

This is basically my “old” computer. All the main parts are the same, but it has the hard drive and CD burner from Mom’s eMachines.
Celeron D 2.26 Ghz
512 MB Ram
nVidia MX 4000 Video Card
This is everything from my old computer with a new motherboard that actually allows me to do some overclocking without messing up my wireless card, a new processor, and a new video card.
Athlon 64 2.0Ghz (overclocked to 2.4Ghz)
1 GB Ram
nVidia 6600GT. (overclocked from 500 to 550mhz)

So there you have it. Our latest affirmation of nerdness. And it’s not just me, Andrea even assembled the parts for her computer installed windows and everything. So we’re like two geeks typing hand in hand!
01.23.06I’m DS’n
Yes, it’s the status symbol of choice. The accessory you have got to have this spring. The next notch in your Nintendo belt. The awesome Nintendo DS! Unless you’ve got better things to do like have a baby or something. 😉
In a rare occurance, Mom got me something I’d asked for on my Christmas list! He he. But I never really expected anything like that for Christmas, so thanks so much!
I already made it through the 50cc tracks in Mario Kart, (trying to keep up the ol’ KartMaster namesake) and Animal Crossing is just as cool and addictive as the Gamecube version.
And it’s just in time too. It gives me something to play while Andrea racks up the hours on Guild Wars. Ha ha. So thanks a lot!
12.25.05OH YEah!
Santa delivers again!!!…….I recieved Super Mario Strikers for Christmas and its hellafun its a must have for you mario sports collection.
12.12.05Christmas, Animal Crossing style!
Have you checked into your Animal Crossing town lately? It’s Christmas-time! The ground is blanketed in snow and they have the lights on the trees…it’s just so cute! Don’t forget to start collecting all the clothes so you can visit the reindeer dude on Christmas Eve and get the Xmas set of goodies!

Nintendo DS. Amazingly fabulous and wonderful I’m sure. Seems to me like just another notch on the Nintendo belt, though.
Maybe I have already turned into the “frugal mother” type, but explain to me how this object will enhance my life in ways that I feel I need to spend $150 to buy the thing. Will it rock my son to sleep at 3 a.m.? Will it change his diaper when it’s dirty?
Everyone seems to make a big to-do over “I have the new DS and you don’t!” Well, you know what… I have an extra $150 in my pocket to spend on something with a purpose, rather than mindless entertainment that will be “yesterday’s news” in a year or so.
Animal Crossing: Wild World

I know there’s at least a few of us here that really enjoy Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. And it’s been known for a while that it’s heading to the DS, Nintendo’s latest handheld system.
When does it come out? December 5th, 2005
To be honest I really haven’t been following this game as closely as I’d like to. Probably because I don’t have a DS yet. *coughchristmascough* But I stumbled across a website that had some pretty cool info on it. Here’s the latest impressions.
There’s finally a lot of good games soon to be out for the DS and it’s getting harder and harder to hold out. I really want one of these things!
