this weekend
ok this weekend im bringing my camera and your going to put up the photos because you dont have a photo of me in your photo section =P
Thanks for the awesome ride, Bill.

Well, I was heading home from work last night at about 11:20, when my phone rang. It was Jason Marsh. He tells me Bill Snyder will retire tomorrow. First off, I’m thinking, since he’s in Aggieville at the moment, this could just be a alcohol induced joke. So I took it with a grain of salt.
So I wasn’t entirely surprised when I woke up this morning to the news. This Saturday will be Bill Snyder’s last game coaching the Wildcats after 17 years as head coach. It’ll be a pretty emotional Saturday at KSU Stadium, which will soon be renamed “Bill Snyder Family Stadium.” I can’t wait to see how the stadium erupts in appreciation for everything he has done at K-State as he walks out of the locker room this weekend for Senior Day.
Getting Impatient…

Matthew,
Your mother told me to post you a message and say, “Hurry it up with the computer!” She’s really starting to go through withdrawl. I’m sure it’s partially my fault though. I keep rubbing it in that she can’t use hers! I say, “Oh, you should really go check this site out…. WAIT, you can’t get on your computer. Ha ha!”
So, anyways, she’s anxiously waiting! See ya at Thanksgiving!
Love ya!
Live from New York…
Well I finally got around to getting Andrea’s pictures from her New York trip at the end of last month uploaded. You can check ’em out in the photos section.
Enjoy!
We suck again!
Heart and soul of the Chiefs running game, Priest Holmes, will no longer be playing football this season. Priest took a helmet to helmet hit two weeks ago against San Diego. Fox Sports online stated that he has bruised in his spinal canal, and will most likey retire as early as Wednesday (today). After that team doctors will re-evaluate him as to his playing status for future seasons.

If you remember from a previous post… Bryan had a job interview at Pepsi. Well, he also applied at ADM. It’s a grain milling company here in Dodge. He had his interview there last week and they offered him the position on the spot! They told him to wait for his background check and drug test results to come in before he puts his two weeks in. So, he did all that on Tuesday, and they called him today and said he can start whenever he wants!!
I’m am SO proud of him. He’ll be a lab technician out there. And what they do is they process Milo and make flour. So Bryan will get to run tests on the flour, play with chemicals and microscopes all day! He’s really excited. They started him at $43-$45 thousand a year, and he’ll be working 4-Midnight. Which is good because he’ll get to be home with Junior in the mornings while I’m at work and vice versa!
So just wanted to post a CONGRATS note for Bryan! I’m SO proud of him!
Did you hear?
What happened to the guy from the K-State game last weekend? Did you ever hear what his injuries were? I was just curious.
We had a BLAST at the game. We’ll have to do that more often. Next season we’ll get Legend’s tickets and you and Andrea can come down and go to a game with us! Bryan and I went to a few games this last season. We were at their FIRST lost home game. Boy was that a depressing game!
Andrea, how was New York?! I bet it was a lot of fun? I’ve never been there. Is it really cold there this time of year? And how was Atlantic city? I’m not a big gambling fan, but think it would be neat to go there. Vacations are a blast but it’s always nice to be home!
Well, I’d better be getting back to work. Thanks again, Matt, for the game! We’ll get together again soon! Love ya!

Neato keyboard!
Thanks for the keyboard, Matt! I hadn’t realized how bad the other one really was til I got this one hooked up this morning. Several keys on the left side of the other one wouldn’t work, pretty much the whole bottom left side up to cap locks, sometimes tab. And this is so quiet! Honestly, I am tickled pink with it and I really appreciate you giving it to me!
This weekend was terrific! The only thing missing was you, Andrea! We’ll all have to load up and do it again when we can have the whole family together. Love ya!
