skype cordless phone
Skype Latest News about Skype on Thursday announced cordless phones that do not require a running computer to use its Voice over Internet Protocol services. The new class of phones lets users make and receive Skype calls over both Internet and traditional landlines.
Skype has partnered with Philips (NYSE: PHG) Latest News about Philips and NetGear to introduce the first two cordless phones with this ability.
Skype recently introduced WiFi Latest News about WiFi phones and Skype PocketPC wireless. Making a way for users to use the service without a running PC is the next step, according to Stefan Oberg, general manager, desktop and hardware at Skype.
“We are broadening our reach to mass consumers by offering them the opportunity to communicate via Skype without having to be tied to the computer,” Oberg said.

Out with the old…
My new DVD burner that Mom got me came in yesterday. The old one would burn DVDs, but only about half the time. As cheap as the burners are, I figured I needed a new one because we’d soon waste as much money in ruined DVDs as a new burner would cost! So now, which one works again?

Save the Internet : Fighting for Internet Freedom
we must act dont let the the telephone/internet providers win i know sometimes we say how we dont want government involment in thing well this time we do they want to take away our freedom to suf the web. the big ISPs want to control what sites are best for us
“Congress is pushing a law that would abandon the Internet’s First Amendment — a principle called Network Neutrality that prevents companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from deciding which Web sites work best for you — based on what site pays them the most. If the public doesn’t speak up now, our elected officials will cave to a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign.” – savetheinternet.com
flashing a bios
well i figured out how to flash the bios on my computer using a usb flash drive however i hosed it before fixing it
when someone says that flashing a bios from a usb is easy and possible to do. laugh at them then kick them in the balls(assuming the person who told you was male)
after hosing my machine i got out ole yellow jacket and did some research and found out that my mobo bios could only be flshed with a floppy my machine didnt have a floppy =( …then i remembered i had a couple of part machines and …what do you know one of them had a floppy drive in it. I created a boot disk put both my flashing utility and bios image on the drive and followed the instructions on the site i found …tada i was able to do it with the floppy drive and im up and running again with a new and fresh bios =)
