Say a prayer
Some of you know, and some of you don’t. But my Grandpa Wayne was recently diagnosed with cancer in his lymph nodes. He spent some time in the hosipital and was back home last I heard, but I think it’s really wearing on him, and on Grandma.
If you think of it, say a prayer for both of them. I’d appreciate it!
Merry Christmas!
I hope everybody’s Christmas is going well. Hope you’re making a big haul on presents, and A Christmas Story is on 24 hours, so there’s no excuse for not seeing it!
Wish baby Jesus a happy birthday!
“Therefore the LORD Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His Name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).
“6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:6-7).
Merry Christmas and God Bless!
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made… 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:1, 3, 14).
“And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1Timothy 3:16).
“And I will shake all nations, and the Desire Of All Nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of Hosts” (Haggai 2:7).
“I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee” (Psalm 2:7).
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD” (Luke 2:11).
09.20.05Proof that scientists don’t know jack.
Sorry about two space posts in one day, but I found this amusing. I find it perplexing how people can be furiously against creationism as a viable theory in where we all came from, when it’s evident that we know next to nothing about how the universe works, let alone how it was brought into exsistance.
This article was published on physorg.com about the Hubble telescope finding “mysterious blue stars” in our closest galaxy neighbor, Andromeda. You can read the whole article if you wish, but here’s a few quotes that illustrate my point:
“Astronomers are perplexed about how the pancake-shaped disk of stars could form so close to a giant black hole. In such a hostile environment, the black hole’s tidal forces should tear matter apart, making it difficult for gas and dust to collapse and form stars.”
Apparantly this isn’t the case.
“Seeing these stars is like watching a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. You know it happened but you don’t know how it happened,” said Tod Lauer of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory in Tucson, Arizona”
Magic, that explains it.
“…the galaxy appears to have a double cluster of stars at its centre. This finding was a surprise, because two clusters should merge into one in only a few hundred thousand years.”
Check your stopwatch.
Now if you don’t want to believe that God created the universe from nothing that’s your perrogative. But don’t ask me for “PROOF” of my theory, when this is yours.
Faith. The End.
