Final Fantasy video from back in the day.

Here’s a video I put together probably a couple years ago.  Never really had the means to post it.  Youtube wasn’t around then, ya know!  I hooked up my PS2 to my old laptop (may she rest in peace) and recorded all the cutscenes from both games on the the hard drive.  That was a good week solid of playing though the games, recording, saving, etc.

Then I edited the two songs together with Cool Edit Pro, and put it all together with Sony Vegas 5.  Didn’t turn out too bad, but the music is a little cliche now.

Last night’s LAN party.

Well with Andrea out of town, and no reason not to, I tagged along with Biebs to go to a LAN party with a few of his friends.  It was a good time, though I was getting my butt handed to me most of the time!  Though I did discover a game called Homeworld 2 that looks pretty fun, but I’m going to have to get into it more before I reach a verdict on that.

I ended up staying out way too late though.  Didn’t get home until about 3AM.  Ugh.  I hit the bed and fell to sleep immediately.  But I was at least up this morning before 10:00, got some coffee in me and all is good!

Head over to biebsworld.com to check out some videos of the gaming action!

Updated About Me

I made some updates to the “About Me” section.  It’s quite a bit more detailed, so trust me.  Only check it out if you’re really bored.

It’s that same &(%@#!

I posted awhile back about an ad displayed on MSN messenger titled “See More Singles” which showed a couple that didn’t appear to be very single.  Well that same chica is back in a new ad!  But “her man” is nowhere to be found.  Maybe he’s the guy she’s supposed to be chatting with on her little laptop?

She may be single...but she sure isnt monogamous.

Terrible Podcast

I’m really dissapointed in how this podcast turned out. I’d re-do it, but I think no matter how much I try I can’t do justice to Smokey Dan. You really must meet the fellow. But if you’d like to hear me attempt to describe is ridiculousness click away.

B.G. Willers Podcast

And before you ask, music this week is from Saving Abel and the Yoshida Brothers.

The Studio

In continuing with experimenting with my camera I decided to try a video.  Never taken a video with this thing…and apparently it only allows 20 seconds.  Man this camera sucks.  So here’s the KZRS Studio quick tour.

It’s retro, but nice and laid back.  Very college radio KSDB McCain Studio feeling.

And here’s the most uncomfortable chair in the world which I’m forced to sit in for four hours a day.  Seriously they won’t even let Guantanomo detainees sit in this chair.

Yee haw…Friday.

Welp.  Tomorrow’s Friday.  It’s been a pretty good week and that makes tomorrow even better.  I know it’s going to fly by too.  I’m sorta filling in for two people tomorrow.  Our traffic person, and the PD.  So I’ll be plenty busy.  Not much time for Smokey Dan to be buggin’ me!

I look forward to Fridays.  I dress a little more formal for this job, which isn’t all bad.  But I look forward to Fridays getting to wear my T-shirt and hat again.  And it’s good knowing I have a nice full weekend coming up to get some stuff done!

I’m still on the lookout for a darn ladder.  I went and priced the cheapest extension ladders I could find.  $100!  Sheesh!  That’s a lot of money for something I’m going to hardly ever use.  I guess maybe I’ll use it again for Christmas lights?  Who knows.  I haven’t decided if I want to spring for one yet.  Where the heck can you buy used ladders!?

But for now, it’s off to relesh te rest of my evening with my wife, a cold Miller High Life and some Guild Wars.  Life doesn’t get much better than this!

Here’s those pics…

Here you go.  Utterly random scenes from around the radio station.  First up “The Bell”.  The first thing your eyes snap to as you walk into the station.  If you ever stop by feel free to ring it…if you dare.

Next we have some broadcasting essentials.  (Jenn will appreciate this picture.)  The Chautauqua and the headphones.  Well, the Chautauqua is essential at least.  I drink a lot of water at work.  I used to suck down pop all the time, finally I realized the water was free and better for me!  Let me tell ya, you honestly do feel better drinking a good amount of water everyday.  ESPECIALLY when it’s hot out side.

Me making an effort to be as comfortable as possible in the most uncomfortable chair in the world.  It’s weird not wearing a hat everyday.

Elsen (P.D.) and Claudia (Sales) doing something.  Probably arguing.  They’ll be married come December…probably.  😉

And last but not least…the guy you may or may not have heard about.  “Smokey Dan”  Famous for such quotes as…

“I called in the first 10 minutes and got a free hedge trimmer.”

“I just don’t think our internet connection has enough poop.”

“At least it got rid of my intestinal bloating.”

“The nice thing about this program is…you just highlight what you want to delete.  Then you delete it.”

“That’s just another thing they put on my plate.”

And more!

I’d go into more detail, but then there’d be nothing left for this week’s podcast!

A goal of mine…

I aim to start carrying my camera around with me more often. I need to get a new one. My current camera is somewhat bulky and sucks the juice out of batteries like none other…but it will have to do for now. Ultimately, I would like to have a cell phone with a quality built in camera. Being limited by providers and the ridiculous cost, however, is an obstacle.

So hopefully by the end of the day, I’ll have new pictures to post! No telling what they will be of, but I’ll give it a shot!
