My third day of work and I am working a split shift cuz someone called in sick. And lucky me! I get to work my day off tomorrow, too. Isn’t part of having a job, showing up when we’re scheduled? Oh yeah, silly me…it’s ME showing up when they are scheduled. I confuse that a lot!
And a question for Andrea…that elbow thing is back. Til I get to the dr., is it ice it down or use heat? I can’t remember. I have my little elbow splint thingy to use, but can you refresh my memory on the cold/warm part?

Yeah, it’s amazing how people can work a job, then wonder why they’re expected to show up.
Just goes to show you how selfish some people can be. They don’t even stop to think about how their not showing up can affect somebody else.
I don’t know how your boss is or anything. But I would think that if you made a deal about it, they couldn’t make you work on your day off and what not. You shouldn’t have to be the solution to your boss’ personell issues.
A couple of days of you saying you can’t fill in, and them having to work short-handed, and I bet that person that skipping out will have a permanent vacation coming.
