What do you think of a boss sending an employee off to do personal stuff for them. My husband has been sent to mow his bosses lawn, wash and wax his truck, pick up his jet ski from the shop, even said one of the guys he works with was sent up to paint the bosses house!
I personally think this is rediculous! Not to mention degrading! However, someone I was chatting with about this said that, they thought it was wonderful and that they get a break from work to do other things. I thought, NO ONE likes to paint a house! NO ONE likes to mow their lawn, it’s not even their lawn, it’s their idiot bosses!
Yes they do get paid to do it, so I guess I shouldn’t bitch. Just seems like this boss is just a lazy, cheap bastard! To lazy to mow his own lawn, and can’t pay the neighbor boy $10 to do it.
You’re thoughts?

It is pretty sleazy of a boss to do something like that. One would like to think that if they said they couldn’t paint the house or whatever it wouldn’t affect their position at work, but I doubt that’s the case.
It sure seems like they could hire the naieve little neighbor kid to mow their lawn cheaper than having an employee doing it. But then again this boss doesn’t seem like the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
Now if Brian ends up doing tasks in which he would end up being underpaid due to his wage; For example: if a house painter gets paid more than Brian, but he’s basically a house painter. Then I’d be throwing a fit. Either way, the boss is a schmuck.

I agree with Matt. In fact, couldn’t say it better!
What did Bryan think of the whole situation? And what’s he think about the basic set up? I mean, winter is coming up…is he going to be up shoveling snow? Thawing frozen water pipes?
