hey its better than running apple crapware such as “iTunes” i mean when you have a machine that will play mp3s but with iTunes you cant just copy the mp3s you first have to convert them to mp4 (apple bullshit codec) so you cant copy them off of the ipod to other computers. it took my roommate 2days to convert all 6 gigs of his music to his ipod. with linux on mine i was able to copy 8 gigs to it in a matter of minutes because i can just drag and drop my mp3s.
