Great Game!

That game between KSU and Texas was awesome!  Did anyone have a chance to go see it in person?  I’m not going to pretend to know all about football, but I sure do enjoy watching it and the game Saturday night is one reason why… I was all by myself, yet kept finding myself jumping up off the couch and hooping and hollering.  At first I was excited simply because we were just making it a ‘good game’.  That third quarter it dawned on me that we can actually WIN!  Beating the team ranked fourth in the nation is quite a feather in Prince’s helmet!

So….are the Wildcats going to a bowl game this year?

Yes, we are going to a bowl game! Woo-hoo! Before, we didn’t know if we were going to get a good one tho. But now that we’ve beaten the #4 Longhorns and pushed them to #12, I think we’re going to get a pretty good bowl game this year. I really want to go to it no matter where it is, but I don’t think Matt’s going to go for that! 😛 Oh well, as long as I get to watch it!
I read online that we actually got votes in the polls and that in the coach’s poll (which I think is the important one) that we got voted to #28. Which isn’t bad at all! Didn’t quite make the top 25, and I don’t think we will since our last game is against KU. Oh well, that’s the highest we’ve been in a few years. Go State!!!

I can’t wait for the bowl games to be announced and set up a party for K-State’s bowl game. Next best thing to being there!

Aggieville is always packed for the bowl games. It’s one of the few times I’ll go down there with tons of people out and about. Right now they’re talking either Independence Bowl, or Holiday Bowl for K-State.

You know what sucks about that? That if you did want to go that you would have to pay a huge amount of money just to fly out there and stay the night. Just because they don’t decide to tell you which one they’re going to until the last minute. 😛
Oh well, no matter when it is and if I knew about it a year ago I still wouldn’t have the money to go to it.
I read that the tickets were 70-80 bucks a piece anyways. I guess it would be worth it if the game was a little closer. Say Kansas City. 😛
It would be awesome to see the Cats play in Arrowhead! I missed it the last time they played there. But a bowl game would be much more exciting.
