I have had it with people whining and bitching, but yet they refuse to help themselves! You can never satisfy them because there is something wrong or some sort of negative comment about everything! You know the kind — when you do them a favor they just don’t understand why you don’t do MORE!?!? I swear, I could donate a frigging kidney and they’d bitch cuz I kept the good for myself!

ppl suck …..i have to put up with them at the hotel….. dollar general it isnt that bad because if im not running a register i can go hide from them.

No kidding. I like to help people when I can, but if you try to help everybody you’ll end up with no time and no money. GUARANTEED!
Anymore I have a few rules when it comes favors for people:
1. Only help those who would help me at the drop of a hat.
2. Don’t help people who won’t help themselves.
3. When loaning money, never expect to get it back.
4. My advise might not be what you want to hear, but it’s always free.
Bottom line is charity wins attention, honesty wins friends. When people come to you with their problems and you deal with them honestly, you start to find out who your real friends are. Every problem has a temporary fix, and a permanent solution. Usually the latter is more work, and when you suggest that course of action, people get all huffy and turn their nose up. Anymore I just shrug it off and wish them luck. It’s not worth the effort to explain, and they’ve usually stopped listening anyway.

You are exactly right, Matt! I’ve ran into that attitude thing already this week and realized that some people prefer the drama of stress!
