Oh Wiilly?

First it was…

Nintendo Entertainment System

Then…

Super Nintendo Entertainment System

Then…

Nintendo 64 (Thanks, Mom for not getting the Sega Saturn!)

Then…

Gamecube

And now…

As in “We”. Clever name? Or just wiilly strange? That’s Nintendo for ya. I mean I know it’s not going to affect what the system does, but it’s going to sound weird saying…

“I’m going to go play with my Wii.”

For those of us still in the dark…what is Wii? Do you all have a link that I can read and be in the loop? I’m guessing it’s a gaming system…correct? But if it’s Nintendo, how does Wii come into play?

Sorry. It’s the name of Nintendo’s new system. I’d posted about it earlier, when it was called the Revolution.

It’s going to be a little better than the Gamecube, and have a free-hand controller that you can move up down left, right, etc. to move things on the screen.

Here’s the official site, though there’s not much there. It’s just a teaser.

Oh, I remember that…it sounded so perfect for the way Duane plays his racing game. The old “steer and lean” technique!

After reading the info on the website, I don’t really get the Wii/we thing. But it reads as a catchy gimick. You can explain it to mii when wii talk next time.–>
