I just wanted to let you know that the baby shower is January the 28th from 2-4. You’ll be getting an inviation, but I wanted to let you know ahead of time in case you and Matt would be able to make it out that weekend!
If you can’t that’s fine. I know it’s kind of short notice, but just wanted to give you the “heads-up!”

I won’t be able to make it out there because I just found out that my sister switched the dates around for her baby shower, and hers is on the 28th also. I would love to go to yours too. I’ll get you something and send it back with your mom. Sound good? Sorry I couldn’t make it.

That’s ok! When is your sister’s baby due?! I know you told me but I forgot. Too many babies being born, I can’t keep up with everything! You’d better be careful about which water you drink… you never know… :o)
