Countdown to Bond time!

It sure seems like a while since the last 007 movie. I see it’s due out next year…is that right? Complete with a new James Bond. I can’t say I’ve heard of Daniel Craig, is he going to be another George Lazaby? (spelled wrong, I know) I’m looking forward to the release of “Casino Royale”, same director as “Golden Eye”, so it’s gotta be decent!

I’ve been searching for a good movie to go see for a couple months and there just isn’t anything that jumped out at me. Any suggestions, you all? Or will it be 12 plus months before I find something worth the $7 ticket fee?

He he. They weren’t supposed to release who it was going to be until tomorrow. I guess Daniel Craig’s mom spilled the beans. Ha ha.

I enjoyed Pierce Brosnan as Bond, but I think he only had one movie left in him for 007 at best. Now might be the right time for a fresh face.

As far as when it’s going to be released, I hear through ianfleming.org that casting for the movie has been a mess so far and if they don’t start shooting soon, the movie could be postponed indefinetly.

Hopefully they get it figured out, I’m anxious for Bond 21!

Oh yeah, movies are way too expensive. It’s something like $7.50 here in Manhattan.

I tell you what. Andrea and I went down to Wichita for her birthday and saw a movie down there in one of the big theaters. Her parents got us balcony seats. Big cooshy chair, plus a wait staff to serve you food and drinks.

The tickets were $16 a piece, but compared to $7.50 I think it’s well worth it as often as I go to the movies.

I haven’t seen any movies that look good, either! Last really great movie I saw in the theater was Wedding Crashers! That was hilarious. Anyone know when it’s due to come out on DVD?!?!

That sound so neat, Matt! It’d be fun to do once in a while.

Movies are expensive, gotta pay the multi-million actor paychecks. Can’t say I mind paying the ticket price if the movie is good.
