You know how if you aren’t a ‘dog’ person then dogs tend to LOVE you? The same with cats…they will gravitate to the one person in the room that can’t stand cats. Well, this is my new theory on spiders. I can’t stand them, am completely terrified by them and therefore, it’s my theory that every flipping spider in S.W. KS has moved into my house. We spray every couple of weeks, but no matter what– the damn things come back repeatedly. A while back we had made plans to take our cat, Fuzz, to a friend’s house for a weekend so we could all evacuate this eight-leggers vacation paradise with a bug bomb. However, she (the cat) is totally uncooperative in this scheme. She flunked kitty kindergarten cuz she doesn’t play well with others and would have killed Melonie’s cats.
So, here’s my question…how exactly does one get rid of spiders? (preferably without killing the cat)

How much is it for general pest to spray? That seemed to work in Ingalls. And we had kitties then didn’t we?

They say to get rid of the spiders, you first have to get rid of the bugs they eat. Dunno what that means. I would think if you sprayed for spiders you’d kill bugs too.
Sounds like you need to train the cat to kill spiders!

That makes sense, actually. I had those rollie polly bugs something terrible a while back. Then all of a sudden they weren’t near as thick. I just assumed the spray had done them in, but thinking back it is about the time the spiders started getting extra thick. I still see a rolly here and there, but not like before. No joke, would clean 50 or so up in the bathroom every morning. The past month there are maybe 10 dead ones in the morning. So this is like a spider’s gourmet dining establishment. I’m gonna have to talk to the General Pest guy when he comes in to eat at Red’s next time. Surely his pesticide is stronger than what we spray and will get into the walls where the bugs are.
