Around the station

Here’s a few pics I snapped today after work. I’ve been meaning to remember my camera for a few days now. Finally got around to it.

Here’s a pic of the studio I work in now. It’s quite a bit more vintage, but it works well enough. By far the worst part is having to sit in that damn wooden chair for 4 hours. Not comfortable at all! The on air system is STORQ. Like the rest, it’s a bit dated, but it works a hell of a lot better than what we used at the other station.

Oh, and look at this. This is back behind a shop next to the radio station.

It’s a Delorean! I wish I could get closer. (Wish I could buy it actually…but yeah) Pretty sweet. It’s the closest I’ve ever been to one, and I can’t get that close!

And here’s a big old Oldsmobile parked out front. Hasn’t moved since I started working there. Wish I could give it some love. Of course my car needs some lovin’ as it is now!

That’s it for now! More as it becomes almost interesting.

    Not too shabby! Yeah the chair would suck! Sweet rides. but my favorite part about all of these pictures…..is the fact that I can see your Chitaquwa (sp?) cup in one of them!

    I was hoping to see pictures of the station. Once you get settled in, I’d love a tour about. Mandy and Brian were out this way for the past weekend and they said they heard you on the radio as they came through.

    You guys are all probably a little too young to remember an old show, WKRP IN CINCINNATI… For some reason this reminds me of that show.

    I don’t understand why can’t you get up closer to the Delor?

    The Delorean is behind a chain link fence. I could probably hop it…but I still wouldn’t be able to drive it, so it ain’t worth getting caught I guess.
